A seemingly arrogant rich son of merchants in Sasserine, Avner was a major sponsor of the trip to Farshore. Along the way he slowly displayed skills that indicated he was more than he appeared. Alas, he was crushed to death by a boulder thrown by a Stone Giant on the Isle of Dread.
