Edward Calisan had a great vision to restore the family to greatness by allying with a seaside city and bringing them into the Allied Kingdom of Rudo. He took the majority of Calisan’s assets and ventured by sea to the isolated port city of Nagisa. He mapped possible outposts and abandoned homesteads along a length of coast greater than the span of the kingdom. Calisan was accepted as a noble in Nagisa but in ten years he could not sway the city council (mostly consisting of rich merchants) to lend even token force to the kingdom along the sea. Edward’s years there were not wasted. He fell in love with a noble daughter, of a house who claimed celestial decent. He married Hellena and had two sons by her. When he decided that he could no longer stay away from the cities of his ancesters he took Hellena and the two young boys on the long voyage back to Ryden and later on to Rudo. Tragically, the ship never arrived. Edward, his wife, and two sons are presumed dead.
