Life would be so much easier without the people. Animals are nice – they’re quiet, they’ll leave you alone. But people are pretty annoying.

Though Cedric lives in town with his mother, he can usually be found out in the woods. He hunts, he fishes, he lies about in all kinds of weather not really caring much. He knows the area pretty well and sometimes acts as a scout or guide. Nice, easy, work.

Sometimes, though, he wakes up in a sweat – something is out there, and something is coming. And Cedric is afraid he will need to do something.
