Backstory
Halaster Blackcloak fashioned eight of these iron rings, marked by horns curling out and back towards the wearer, for himself and his apprentices. The owner of a horned ring can employ greater teleport within the confines of Undermountain, unaffected by Halaster’s teleport cage, but it is still not possible to teleport into or out of Undermountain. Wearers of a horned ring can cloak themselves in an antimagic aura (suppress all spells, spell-like abilities and supernatural abilities inside of an aura surrounding the wearer, protecting the wearer from magical effects but simultaneously suppressing the wearer’s own magical abilities). The ring also provides protection equivalent to a brooch of shielding and a major ring of energy resistance (electricity).
