A hulking imposing man. He is hairy and unkempt and wears a trenchcoat that likely has never been washed. Horsbait wears a large sword on his back and has been known to hide a carbine under his coat.
Horsbait is mute.

Horsbait is a member of the Dicer’s Laggers and was the righthand of Tugs, the leader. Since Tugs was killed by a booby-trapped box (see Murder on the Roe, laura speaks, boom box) Horsbait’s status within the Laggers has fallen. Still, he cuts an imposing figure and his lack of ambition within the gang gives him no obvious enemies.
