Jurai Turlain, second heir to the throne, is torn between being ready to assume the throne if need be and afraid of being someone’s pawn. He is fair skinned, blue eyed, and apparently injures easily. He often if found with inexplicable bruising and cuts. He is given to verse and is known to avoid martial combat, though is is a fine horserider. He keeps a special honey colored destrider named Argos in the royal stables. Jurai is often in the company of Sir Billiam, knight protectorate of the realm. It is not clear if Sir Billiam keeps him safe, or keeps an eye on him to prevent any political plotting.
