Bio

Velandrix was born almost 50 years ago in the Island nation of Albion. Soon after Velandrix turned 15 he left the enchanted land to seek fame and fortune. He enlisted on a merchant ship for working passage to the Empire. The young man spent most of the time scrubbing the deck. Upon arriving in the Empire he enlisted with the Army. Velandrix rose through the ranks slowly, becoming an officer in 10 years. As a lieutenant he had the opportunity to work with a Battle mage. After several awe inspiring conflicts Velandrix, now a captain, chose to become a battle mage as well. He travelled to the school only to be denied entry because of his age. Angered the captain sought out a mentor. He travelled to land of Araby and found the Lore master Sabrae Kalrhazza. He spent several years learning the craft from the Lore master. Sabrae told him on his eighth year that she could teach him no more and he must go into the world for his lessons. Velandrix left the sage and began his adventuring career at the age of 38.
