Elizabeth the Augur is a well-meaning devotee of the Trickster Cult, seeking to undermine the authorities and restore “home rule” to the people. She is no longer young, but not yet middle aged, either. Elizabeth the Augur is a figure in the Blasphemous Cult of Chaos, one of the last of this group, on the run for her life. She also happens to be a noblewoman of Lord Mark’s court.
Countess Elizabeth of Hexhamshire is a member of Lord Mark’s court. She is also a secret heretic, believing in the Cult of the Trickster, and has risen to some prominence in that organization. She came to the Northern Marches seeking to connect with Trickster Cultists at the Shrine of the Oracle; she will not say more about her purpose. Her flight to the region was somewhat hasty, and she found herself in need of ready cash. When Bargle the Warlock made it known he was seeking adventurers to recover items lost in the Nichtgetan Mine, Elizabeth signed on. She quickly regretted her alliance with the odious Magic-User, however.
