Bio
Kanes Nailo was born in Ilthar, the last of the Ilthar royal family. His family was killed by the Cult of the Burning Hand and he spent his life trying to escape the cult and discover who killed his family.
He met with the other Brimstone Heroes in Ravenwatch where he was hunting down an orc warlord who might have information on the Cult. Unfortunately the tides of war forced him to change his goal and he joined with the group and journeyed across the vast Highlands with them to reach the Great Vale, a place of magical power and center of the Druidic Order to speak with the Archdruid of the Vale. He began a relationship with the druid Seraphyr.
From the Vale they were sent to Cumbria where he and the others began to attack the Cult of the Burning Hand, destroying the cult’s sub-leader, Morrigan the Summoner. Unfortunately the full might of the cult was unleashed on them and they barely escaped with their lives and the people they cared about were threatened.
On accident he and Glimmer were transported thousands of years back in time thanks to Glimmer’s uncontrolled mental power. He met his ancestor, Alaria Nailo, and was killed by the Shining Ones. He awoke with Glimmer in his own time, shaken by what happened but suffused with mystical power.
They followed a Prophecy predicting the rise of Asmodeus and began looking for ways to stop it from happening, journeying to an ancient Ilthar palace, evading the green dragon that lived there, and finding a crystal repository of knowledge. When Kanes touched the repository he was transported instantly to the Spirit World where he met Alaria once more and when the rest of the Heroes arrived fought two corrupted Shining Ones and fled the collapse of Alaria’s tower.
After returning from the Spiritworld Kanes was kidnapped by a Daemar, Korame the Royal Guard of Alathera the Queen of the Daemar and his cousin. His allies found her and stopped her from kidnapping him but Seraphyr, horribly sick with child, could not continue with the group any longer. Despite Kanes’s protests Korame joined the group to find her Queen and protect Kanes.
In the Hellfire Citadel Kanes was killed in a tragic accident, a flesh golem pushed him into a pit of necromatic fluid where his life was drained away.
