Description
Cardinal Ludwig is the highest ranking member of the One Lawful Church of Iomedae in all the nearby lands, and a nobleman in his own right—in fact he is half-brother to Lord Mark. This combination of religious and secular authority makes him an important man in his brother’s lands. Ludwig is an angry, grouchy person, and his authoritarian tendencies make him hard to get along with. He takes a dim view of sorcerors.
Bio
Ludwig was instrumental in demolishing the “Blasphemous Cult of Asmodeus” in his brother’s lands, but he is ever vigilant against spies sent from neighboring Cheliax to re-establish organized worship of the Arch Devil.
In Ludwig’s own territories, no infraction is too trivial for punishment and correction in the name of saving souls, and he would like to bring the same practices to the Darkmoon Vale. Obviously Ludwig is a closeted sadist, cloaking his own urges to smite people as righteous zeal.
