Background
Mark Hampton lived in Chicago. He was a security guard at a zoo. He was attacked on the night shift by Bianca while she was on a blood frenzy. He ran and hid in the zoo and Bianca attacked and fed on the animals. When Bianca was satiated she found Mark trembling and put him under her control. He was her servant for several years when he accidentally stumbled across his power and burned down her mansion. Free from his master, he now tried to run and get as far away as possible. Vampires found out about what happened and began to hunt him. He changed his name to “Peter Benlow” and found a gypsy group in Virginia which consisted of a bunch of hedge mages. The gypsy’s helped Peter control his power and he was put under a mentor named Billy Hunter. During his stay with the gypsy’s a man named Cameron Amadis came to the band looking for a special artifact that the gypsy’s had and he had come to retrieve it. Cameron stayed with the gypsy’s for a while and got to know Peter a bit. After Peter had control of his powers, he was contacted by the white council telling him that there was a vampire raid and they needed his assistance to retrieve a human woman who had been taken. Peter obeyed, wanting revenge on the creatures that has enslaved him and went on the raid with Cameron and other wardens. Peter and Bill’s friendship is like any master apprentice one. Bill usually has daily exercises for Peter to help control his power. When Bill isn’t teaching Peter they have a good friendship. Since Peter changed his identity he lost almost all friend and family and Bill is one of the only people Peter has to talk to and befriend. Bill stays with Peter for his teaching but never goes out to fight.
