Rommel was born in the Parish of Harstadt and is the fourth son of Duke Heinrich. Duke Heinrich and family control the Parish of Harstadt. Rommel’s oldest brother, Heinz is the favored son and first born. Rommel also has two other older brothers who are #2 and #3 in line of Dukedom. They are Hans and Erik.

Rommel has always been at odds with his family that together with Emperor Jurgen have made it a campaign of extinction for all non-humans. This is something that Rommel is vehamently against and has been an active member of the resistance to prevent this kind of activity. It did not help matters when Rommel went into the Ranger Scout Class this infuriated his father and brothers. Family members have always been fighters and served honorably for the Firenzian Empire. Hans (Brother #2) went into the preisthood and is a Priest of Gond. Heinz (Brother #1) and Erik (Brother #3) are both soldiers in the Firenzian Military. Heinz is an engineer while Erik is a commander of a heavy infantry regiment.

As part of the resistance, Rommel has befriended Duncan, Kristoff and Otto who are generally located on the Marellean side of the River Raselle.

Rommel is an expert bowman and hunter and wears his class mask with much comfort and confidence.
