Rumrad (Meadowleaf) is the head of the clan in the region and the husband of Aaelas. It is the largest of the clans in the Corsae Forest and this clan has borne the brunt of the fight in this area.

Rumrad is haunted by the savagery of the deaths of his people in Arinis but knows that throwing away his life in a stupid death will not aid his peoples cause. He has become somewhat withdrawn and is unsmiling any more. The only cheer that he has in his heart is that of his wife singing but she seldom sings and only sad songs, unlike the old days when she raised her voice in joyous song. He has vowed to hear her sing in joy again.

Rumrad has no love for humans but at this time is willing to accept them to aid his cause in destroying the orcish invader.

With the additional losses that his people have suffered, he and Aaelas feel that they only have one final duty to perform, that of taking as many of the enemy before the final darkness engulfs both him and his mate.

The couple survived the battle of the Bloody Wood and with the death of Querili have been asked to become head of Endthiel. They have agreed to do so and both have volunteered to maintain the monument that was Arinis along with the other survivors.

Rumrad has put his dislike of humans behind him, seeing that they fought fircely against the ravening hordes of the orcs and has sent out inquiries to the human kingdoms.
