Bio

Standing at a medium height, little is known about this man. At first appearance, his features are hidden under the heavy hood of his black robe. If a figment of light happens to fall on his face, you notice he appears human, yet there’s something very unhuman about him.

If you have the chance to have an interaction with this dismal sounding man, at a closer inspection, you now notice his hands. The skin is dark, nearly a shade of black, covered with small scales rather than skin, displaying intricate swirls and designs with different shades and sheens of scales.

If you’re fortunate to become his aquaintence, he lowers his hood and you see him for who he really is: not human, but a dragonblood with black colored, lustrous scales. His ears come to a high point, somewhat like an elf, and his hair is black and cut short. More impressive than the designs on his hands, his face is not merely one color, but a wide spectrum of various blacks. The scales are not disturbing, but rather elegant, due to the complex coloration. He exhibits all the best characteristics of a dragon in a compact humanoid form.

When you speak with him, you get the impression he is determined and doesn’t waste time in reaching any goals. He wholeheartedly pursues whatever he’s doing at the moment, and you definately think he is capable of getting things done… if not one way, then perhaps in a more frightening way. You certainly feel that being in his disfavor is a place you don’t want to be. Yet despite this frightful aura about him, you notice a more curious and wonderous aspect of him toward things different and new. He inspects such things looking to broaden his understanding, taking interesting in anything unique, noteworthy, and attractive. Such wonder does not leave him foolish though, for example, he’d be sure to render an owlbear harmless before he admires its fur and feathers. The workings of life and the world is always worth a moment of admiration.

Being a Spellscale, he acts very much like his kind when it comes to his actions. He lives life without lingering regret. After all, everything he has experienced or done has contributed to the individual he is today. You will never catch Aegus offering up an apology for anything. Perhaps the outcome wasn’t what he anticipated, but trying the action was what he fully intended to do. One shouldn’t apologize for something one meant to do, Aegus always thought. If anyone ever demands an explaination from Aegus for his actions they may deem incorrect, he merely smiles, shrugs, or on occasion will give an answer so rediculous that it mocks his interrogator.
