This weapon lets the wielder expand their threatened area by 1, when wielding a Chained Blade one size category larger than itself (e.i. a Medium character having a Large chain in two hands)
Backstory
And old Echani Weapon, now stylised and refined. It is a cross between an old Signalling tool and a brutal melee weapon.
It’s a Machete at the end of a chain, basically. It also makes an infernal sound when swung in the air. One of the benefits of this weapon is that the wielder can reach persons not immediately adjacent to him. Also, extending the chain builds up momentum in the swing, allowing for massive amounts of damage.
