The Owl grants his owner the access to the Prophecy Purview, by observing a place or person, the owl makes connections and calculations as to the outcomes, showing these outcomes on the screen of the Pocket watch.

Pocket watch
This large Pocket Watch is used to communicate with the Clockwork Owl, allowing two way communication (though the owl can’t talk) it allows Leon to see what the owl see’s through the face of the watch.

Machine Interface
The Owl can interface and control mechanical devices (which must have extensive modifications in order to work; at current, only leon’s motorcycle can be controlled in this manner). it allows the Owl (which commonly appears to be an ornament on the front of the bike, to use the bike as the driver.

This also allows the owl to interface with computers, though after that Leon must use the Pocket Watch in order to remotely access the coimputer (the watch acts as a touch screen interface).

Automaton Speak The owl can communicate with the Clockwork Automaton’s at range up to a mile wirelessly. The Automaton’s consider the Owl to be their secondary leader and its orders are superseded only by Leon or Hephaestus himself.

The Clockwork Owl was originally crafted for perseus at Request of Zeus – since Athena would not cede her companion bird (not in contemporary myth, seen in ‘Clash of the Titans’).

Since that day, Hephaestus has made an aviary of Clockwork Owl’s, which he uses to keep an eye on events and people of interest, commonly his scions.

This Clockwork Owl, in specific, showcased an unintentional but favorable talent for Prophecy. A standard clockwork owl may or may not have access to the prophecy purview.
