Backstory
This single six-sided dice has been crafted from dragon bone, and intricately etched with six unique symbols on each of its facets. The yellowing and chipped nature of the material attests to its age, and use. When held, the dice reverberate a sense of magical power (a heavy tingling sensation in the fingers that seems to beckon the dice to drop from your hand).
On one side is etched the image of a bathing maiden, rising from what appears to be stylized waves. Another side depicts an elderly robed sage holding a pair of scales, one side tipped slightly heavier than the other. The third side boasts the image of a barbaric warrior, great sword raised high overhead in combat. Another side has been emblazoned with a court fool, obviously in a blundered attempt to juggle several orbs (as they are depicted falling around him erratically), and on the final side is the disturbing image of death, represented by a cleaved skull with an arrow piercing from one side to the other.
