Description

Salutations Most Honoured One,

As per your request, I have reviewed the progress we have made in our various current projects in precautionary anticipation of discovery by His agents. Most of our projects are benign enough that I would suggest leaving their outcomes to the various project leaders. Only three current projects pose a threat to us from discovery: Projects Shadow Puppet, Kingmaker, and Nothing.

In the case of discovery, all contact with the subject of Project Shadow Puppet should cease. Furthermore, any attempts at contact from the subject should be ignored. Assuming that the Order and the subject both survive, we should be able to recontact him when it is safe for both parties. From there, the project leader can decide whether we can pick up from where we left off, or if we’ll need to restart the whole process.

Meanwhile, should discovery occur before implementation of the final product of Project Kingmaker, it should be split into its component pieces and scattered across the Tablelands. I would have Atlalak take the shard of spirits past to a safe place in the ruins of UnderTyr, Cawthra Far Eyes take the shard of consubstantiation to the Fabled City of the Mind Lords across the Silt Sea, Nok take the shard of the dead mind to be lost within the jungles of the Ringing Mountains, and Klik-Chaka’’da take the shard of elemental imitation out of the Tablelands and into the Crimson Savanna.

These pieces should be scattered far apart and each person charged with a shard should not know who has the others, nor where they go. Letting the final product be assembled and used by anyone not of the Order would be incredibly dangerous. Could you imagine what would happen if He got a hold of it? Should things once again be safe for us, we can recall the guardians and/or their decedents and resume the project where we left off.

Should Project Nothing face discovery, the best advice I can give you is to request each of the volunteers willingly ends their own lives. If they will not, they will need to be smuggled out and scattered as far and wide as possible. I would have Lyanius take Newmade to South Ledopolus, Olavya take Culler to the Crescent Forest to be hidden from the denizens of Gulg and Nibenay until such time as they can return, Darksun Xandu take Made north to Pterran Vale, I am certain that Elan will willingly end her own life for the greater good – so certain that I myself would be willing to take her away should she choose not to do so, and you, Most Honoured One, should take the most dangerous one, Eternal, as far south as possible – you’ll know the best place to go.

In closing, I don’t expect us to be discovered anytime soon. Yet, you are wise to request these contingency procedures. I have complied with the best of my ability, but hope that they shant be needed. As always, I remain a humble servant,

Lady Zanthiros
