When Jolene LaSalle got her degree in Hotel Management, she had big dreams. She immediately packed up and headed for Las Vegas. Her grand ambitions ran smack into a hard reality of Vegas: it’s not what, but who you know. She finally found a job as hiring manager at the Orleans, a casino which had definitely seen better days.
She’s quietly shelved her dreams of being the next Terry Benedict, but she revels in the Vegas nightlife. It doesn’t hurt that even the hiring manager at a decent-sized casino makes good money. She doesn’t burn it up, doesn’t do drugs or drink too much (too often, at any rate). She’s well-off and got her choice in men. To make matters better, a recent hire, Jolie St. Cyr (a native of NOLA, no less) seems to have a magic touch. Maybe Casino mogul isn’t so far-fetched after all.
