Metla is at odds currently with halfling community, including the Earl of Baynock. Brigands (the cleftwood few influenced by Auther Kalzak of calisan) forced a halfling wagon community to take up a defensible position in a ruined keep under the sanction of Metla. Metla demands compensation and the removal of the smallfolk. The smallfolk beg squatter’s rights until Metla utilizes the land of the barrony and the roads become safe again.
