The Might of Hephaestus is an artificial arm crafted from Divine Bronze by the Smithgod of the Dodekathon, Hephaestus.

The arm grants the possessor access to the purview of Fire.

The Might of Hephaestus is crafted from Divine Bronze, thus allowing its possessor to parry lethal blows unarmed.

Lastly the Might of Hephaestus can burn with white hot heat for a moment when a point of legend is spent. When this happens the arm deals (Legend x 2) Lethal fire damage to anything that touches it.

Hephaestus set his Clockwork Owl automaton to watch over his Scion throughout the course of his life, for years the owl observed and reported to Hephaestus, then one day it returned with grave prophecy – an ability it was not even expected to possess. Upon his visitation, Leon Alexander would lose an arm.

at first Hephaestus planned on how he would prevent this from happening, but for whatever reason the Fates do what they do – Leon’s loss of an arm was a fateful constant – and so he set to work crafting him a new arm.

The arm is cast of divine bronze, scribed with dozens of Greek and Roman sigils which not only amplify and channel its power but also bind within it the thing that empowers it.

Housed within the forearm is the still-beating heart of a Fire Giant.
