Bio

The latest incarnation of the Myrdonic Harmonizer, at last mending, incorporates (quite literally) the shattered shards of a fallen foe; in anticipation of a bit of bone fiddling.

Twill grew up in the busy life of Bell’s Inn with his brothers. He’s a moody one: quiet and impassive when not singing his “songs” or charming news and stories out of travelers to add to his considerable understanding of lore and history.

He sings epic poetry in a gravelly staccato while playing a driving, rhythmic lilt of urban grit – something like Tom Waits meets the Clash meets Homer.

His latest fascination is with capturing the sounds of the last breaths of heroes and villains alike, which he is convinced is the missing core to his work. Thus the self-styled “Songspinner of Last Breaths”.

While capable with a bow and sword, his true battle asset is the Myrdonic Harmonizer – a many stringed instrument that reverberates with complicated overtones that harmonize equally well with thunderous sword strokes and whispers for mercy. Left on its own, its strings seem to play themselves as sounds are captured in the feedback loops of expertly crafted resonance chambers.

Twill is especially fond of his brother Lush’s homebrew and is delighted to have him along for the ride in Sir Trousdale’s caravan.
