This twisted knife has strange red crystals embedded in the blade. The hilt and pommel form two serpents intertwined. The serrated blade is not terribly effective in combat, but the ragged wounds it causes bleed vigorously.

• Bleeding of 2 hit points per round continues until healed by magic. First aid only slows bleeding to 1 hp/rnd.
• Ritual Sacrifice: If this weapon is used to Coup de Grace a living creature, the glowing red dagger gains 1d4+2 points that may be used to supplement any magical spell cast in the next 15 minutes. Points may be added to damage, DC, or concentration.

The Twisted Knife was taken from the Wizard Bargle at the Battle of the Scarp. Sages whisper tales of such blades’ use by Stygians of antiquity to summon demons and serpents.
