Little is known about Usara and he does not readily volunteer information. Taciturn and pragmatic and has proven himself ready and able to do distasteful things if they are necessary.

Usara has also shown himself to be prone to vengeance and other darker emotions though he has so far been extremely loyal to his companions. Even risking his own life to save the life of Horace Jinglebottom after they escaped the orcish slave ship by lashing Horace to his own body to keep the little gnome from being swept away.

Despite his heroism he and Horace have difficulty getting along. Horace’s unending optimism and strange outbursts grate on his nerves and it is quite easy to see that Horace’s proven cowardice is another flash point when compared to Usara’s stoic, unflinching courage in the face of death.

Update: As of 2/16/08 Usara was slain in battle against the Orc horde that attacked Sanctuary under the command of the blue goblin psion Duz Nightcurse.

He fought to keep Gabriel and Horace safe, giving his life in the battle to the swipe of an orcish blade.
