My first attempt at a RPG was as a player in a school friend’s one-on-one MERP campaign. After several hours of whittling a Sylvin Elf Ranger to perfection he was killed within an hour by a fast-moving underground river. That was 1995. Now, in 2012, I have graduated to GM of several dozen attempted campaigns.

As a Game Master I prefer story over rules, and I’m willing to bend, break, and even disregard anything that simply interferes with the adventure I’m presenting.
