What games might you be interested in playing?

Old-School style Dungeons & Dragons, Runequest 2nd ed in Prax, Rogue Trader/Dark Heresy, WFRP 1st/2nd, Cthulhu, Tekumel, Traveller, Gamma World/Metamorphosis Alpha, Middle Earth, old Stormbringer/Hawkmoon/Corum, Fading Suns 2nd ed, LUG Dune, Star Wars d6, Classic (A)D&D worlds: Wilderlands, Mystara, Midkemia, Blackmoor, Lankhmar, Oriental Adventures, Spelljammer, Dragonlance or Thieves World, possibly ported to BRP Classic Fantasy or something similar.

How long have you been gaming?

I've been gaming since the mid-seventies, role-playing since 1978, and ran a 1st ed AD&D campaign for 20 yrs.

Do you prefer to GM or play?

Nowadays, play. Would love to find a G-rated game that my 10 yr old might be able to join too, that's more than just combat. Interested in gaming/socializing. I used to play in a group where gamers brought spouses/etc, & kids. We had dinner, then played. Those not interested in playing hung out in another room, maybe watched a movie and socialized. Kids crashed. Spouses didn't feel neglected. We got families interested in gaming, and had a nice night to socialize with new friends. But I haven't replicated this yet. So?
