I am a Boston-based graduate student in medieval theology.

Games

To be frank, I’m only a casual gamer, not one of those who really dedicates a huge amount of time to the hobby. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that!) I do occasionally get obsessed with an Ars Magica saga idea or the like, though…

I play:

• Ars Magica 5th Edition – I’m a heavy-research style GM but like to let players muck about with ‘actual’ history
• Older editions of (A)D&D (from 1st edition Advanced through 3.5e) – especially focusing on a more pulp-y, Conan-like fantasy
• Snippets of (n)WoD – Mage the Awakening mostly.
• Some occasional forays into other systems (GURPS, FATE, etc.)

Special Abilities

I know thirteen languages (most of them ancient).
