Started gaming at oh, say, five years old. In which I died within ten minutes during a Call of Cthulhu game. Been playing on-and-off ever since. My Dungeon-Mastering is currently in remission, but possibly becoming malignant yet again.

A few interesting characters:
A wheel-chair bound mad scientist warlock. A dentist vampire. A seven-year-old ageless and immortal homeless street-urchin. And finally, a Morlock named Gort who enjoyed flowers, and beating things to death with flowers.
