Bio

I remember playing D&D in 1981 at age eight. None of us really read the rules completely. We used the d20 for everything (because it was the coolest), even damage! Not quite understanding the multi-class rules, we all played Fighter/Thief/Magic Users. A bag of holding could hold anything, any size, any amount. A friend of mine kept his fully-grown pet dragon in there—until he needed him. Ah… those were the days.

Now, you have to buy a hundred books to keep up with all the rules and options, and re-buy them when a new edition comes out. Miniatures, maps, battlemats, 3-D structures, fancy dice… It’s an obsession! Not that I’m obsessed. I don’t own a battlemat.
