I just signed up on Obsidian Portal after a few months of occasionally checking in to read campaigns and see what people are doing with the site. I’ve run and played in chat-based D&D games as well as play-by-email and play-by-post, and I’m looking forward to working with the enhanced interface here as well as the social aspects of finding players and games to play in.

I’m mostly interested in flavors of D&D — particularly 1e, 2e, and 4e — but I’m familiar with a variety of other systems, including GURPS and FATE. If the story sounds interesting and the people are fun to game with, I’ll try pretty much any system once or twice.

My work schedule and other commitments make it tough for me to commit to a face-to-face game, alas, but play-by-post and possibly play-by-VTT (Roll20 and the like) work great for me.

Looking forward to learning more about Obsidian Portal and getting to know people here. :-)
