The date was October 1st, 1987. It was a Thursday night. Corpulent clouds of gloom permeated the tenebrous, thundering sky. It was a cold and stormy evening. Stretching as far as the vast heavens spanned, the agonizing screams of a small, mortal woman resonated in the air. In perfect, divine unisen the woman’s cries and the storm began to crescendo together, as one. The planets aligned and the gods parted the clouds so that the omnipotent creators could witness the unwrapping of the gift of life. A single bolt of lightning struck the surface of the Earth one final time. In that exact same moment a child was born, descending from the womb of the bellowing woman like a bullet from heaven. The storm began to evanesce and time stood still as the entire cosmos paused to take in the sight of the greatest, most epic being ever brought into existence… The child would be called SHINenzo.
Okay… So, everything that I said prior to this statement was a complete and outright lie except for my date of birth…
I’m currently working on the first campaign, 30 Days & 30 Knights, for my new Geneseed Campaign Setting.
And now, a very wise quote for every DM to play by…
“Never let the rules get in the way of a good idea.” – Mike Scott
