I’ve been gaming for a couple of years now, but I am definitely still learning the ropes. D&D 3.5 & 4, BESM, Tribe 8, VtM, VtR, WoD, Dark Heresy, Shadow Run, AFMBE are all the different system’s I’ve played with my group, which probably explains why I’m familiar with so many, but haven’t mastered any of them. Mostly I play face to face, but there was an interesting mIRC AFMBE game, but we were still all in the same room, lol. It was strange.
I have no nerd cred, but I was introduced to D&D and really loved it. I’m more of a writer and artist and I feel playing these games is just another artistic outlet. I ran a Vampire game a few years back, it was technically my first experience GMing. It was silly and fun and definitely light on logic, skill use and combat….xD. Everyone had fun, so it was a success overall, but I really wanted to try my hand at something more serious. I wanted to make great games for my friends like they’ve made for me.
I decided to try once again, now that I’ve had a little more experience. This time with D&D. Since there are three games going, I’ve got a three week period to plan everything, so there isn’t a lot of pressure and I don’t feel rushed. I just ran my first session last week and overall, it was pretty fun.
I had been putting all the info for my new campaign on my FB page, but it’s not really formatted to handle it. I mentioned to some of my players that I was thinking about making a small web page for it and they sent me here instead. (Thanks Andy and Rob! :D )
