I’m a gamer/game master in Minneapolis, MN. I’ve been GM-ing for about 14 years now. When I’m running a tabletop RPG, my primary concern is the freedom that the characters are allowed. I’m predisposed to dislike MMORPG’s and video games in general for their linear story lines and lack of meaningful interaction. (Though there are plenty of exceptions.) For me, the purpose of any roleplaying game is cooperative storytelling. Any rules, guidelines, or mechanics that get in the way of an extremely imaginative and open-ended adventure are less than useless.
Games I’ve run:
Savage Worlds (Fantasy)
As well as several custom systems
