I started gaming when I was about eight. I would draw maps and characters and put together basic campaigns. A child of the nineties, my early influences were Dragon Ball and the Conan cartoon. The crowning achievement of my early campaigns was a “Spell to Save the World and Win the Game” item. Oh yeah, no joke.
I discovered DnD in high school when I started playing the Grand Conjunction with a group of friends. That game lasted four years. Since then I’ve played in a variety of campaigns, some contemporary zombie post-apocalyptic stuff and I’ve done some Vampire and Mage tabletop.
I like 4th ed. but I still remember what THACO is. I favor cleric, druid and paladins and I think multiclassing is pretentious. I no longer game often, life usually gets in the way, but I think it is important to have a bit of fantasy in the everyday.
