Bio
A game master for over 10 years whose first experience with RPG’s was when a friend of his handed him a book of really cool looking mech suits (Rifts: Triax and the NGR) and who then jumped right in with running his own game without even knowing what all the rules meant.
Rifts was the first game I ever played, which then led into other games by Palladium such as Palladium Fantasy and Robotech. From there, I picked up copies of the 3rd edition PHB, DMG, and MM when they first hit shelves and a whim and immediately called my friends over after reading those books cover to cover. From there I was introduced to GURPS, which led into White Wolf games after reading the GURPS rules conversions for several of their books (Vampire, Werewolf, and Mage specifically). Afterwards I was introduced to Big Eyes Small Mouth through a local comic/trading card shop, then the Marvel Universe Role-Playing Game, and from there on to Scion, Anima: Beyond Fantasy, Shadowrun, and other.
I consider myself to be a collector of role-playing games, as every time I hear about a game that I think sounds interesting, I do whatever I can to get my hands on it and give it a look.
Running games is my passion. I love doing it, which makes it a very good thing that people tend to think I do a pretty good job at it. Currently, I am involved with a D&D 4th edition game and am simultaneously running a Pathfinder game along with it (the two alternating every two weeks). I am eager to play every week (Wed just can never get here fast enough) and am hopeful that I may start running other games soon, as my love of Scion and other White Wolf games has recently been rekindled.
