I grew up on D and D, 1st through 4th editions, and everything in between. 3.5’s system is still my favorite. The Forgotten Realms has been the mainstay of my gaming group for years, but we’ve ventured out into other good worlds too. Birthright has become a personal favorite. I’d like to give a huge thanks to the people at Birthright.net for their fantastic work bringing the Birthright world and system out of 2nd edition and into 3.5. I’ve made ample use of their material for The Heroes of the East, although I’ve also made quite a few home brew rules adjustments.

I’m also a big fan of the old D6 Star Wars system, and we’ve had some great games in the Star Wars Universe as well.
