Kaeosdad’s 3 Rules of Tabletop Etiquette

1. Show up on time: As a rule of thumb I start the game an hour after everyone is scheduled to meet up to give time to catch up, eat some food, get comfortable, and give the inevitable late comers a chance to arrive before the game begins. More than an hour late? Sorry, the game goes on!

2. Be ready to game: Once the game begins off topic and out of character chatter should be kept to a minimum. Know the rules for your player character and be ready to make snap decisions.

3. Have fun, be positive and respectful: Actions have consequences, rewards require risk, and sometimes things don’t go the way everyone wants it to. The most important things to remember is that role playing games are about immersing your imagination in a fictional world, creating a shared story and most of all having a good time with a group of friends.
