My job, when I run a game, is to provide a living world to my players – one rich in details, with as much or as little plot as they feel is desirable. When I play in a game, my job is to bring a character to the table and do my best to portray that character’s personality and nature for the others in the game. No matter what, my goal is to help make the game more fun and exciting for everyone.
In terms of ‘cred’, I’ve been gaming since the start of the 90s. I’m the one and only winner of the Neoncon Iron GM Regional, and did pretty good in the Gencon 2011 Iron GM competition. I have game systems that range from the popular (Pathfinder, World of Darkness, HERO) to the obscure (Don’t Rest Your Head, Diaspora, Talislanta), and I can run or play in any of them.
Gaming is about having fun. There is no wrong way to do it, as long as everyone at the table is having fun.
