I’ve been interested in fantasy, adventure, and role-playing games nearly all of my life. I had played Magic: The Gathering in elementary school, which eventually evolved into tabletop RPGs, though my earliest role-playing game was actually live action.
While in high school, I became involved with a LARP known as NERO, which turned out to be a ton of fun. A friend I met through NERO introduced me to Dungeons & Dragons, 3rd edition. And even though my first game was terrible, and my pathetic 1st level Halfling Rogue was either dying or unconscious for half of the session, I was hooked.
Since then, I’ve primarily been a D&D fan, though I’m open to trying new games as well.
