Growing up in Alaska, and not really into outdoor activites, I was lucky to meet a good friend and his brother who invited me to start play AD&D. It did not take long before I was hooked.
Playing almost every day since about ten years of age, my gaming experience grew with my new friends. As time passed we included games like CarWars, TMNT, Robotech, and a little Rifts, which I attemped to GM with minor sucess, but we still had fun. That was the number one rule, to have fun.
After high I moved from AK, to AZ where I still live. Not having my gaming friends around, and the new friends I made were not interested in table games, I put my books in storage and just surived the daily routine of life. I did find myself playing World of Warcraft which did not take long for my addiction to almost ruin my marriage. I still play WoW today, but not as much as I used to.
I am excited about getting back into D&D 5th edition with at least one of my best friends, and make some new ones as well.
