Duripant's Bio
Forged in the fires of the early 70’s, Duripant came of age basking in cathode rays, soaking up images of Saigon falling and appearances by The 5th Dimension on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Then the 80’s beckoned with promises of wealth trickling down from golden chalices…chalices owned by others, but still, one takes what one can get. He cut his teeth on the Commodore PET and Apple II, fingerbanged an intel 286 in the back of a rusting ElCamino at a drive-in movie and finally lost his virginity to a 486 that ran Windows 3.1 of all things. He was a master of the Command Line Interface, in the days when a computer was a machine that executed the instructions it was given. Now, many lifetimes later, he is a doddering old coot shaking his fist at the stupidity of "smart"phones and the idiocy of watching movies on screens measured in single-digit inches.
