I first started roleplaying, som 30+ years ago. Like many others i started with the old school d&d rules, as a friend of mine had gotten his hands on the “Rules Encyclopedia” book (I’ve still got the exact book on the shelf). From that it didn’t take me long to discover the Advanced d&d books, and I quickly fell in love with the Forgotten Realms setting. One of my biggest influences in that regard, was reading many of the novels telling adventures in the setting, of which the Dark Elf Saga to this day still stands as one of my absolute favorites. I quickly learned, that the role of Dungeon Master was almost more fulfilling to me than actually playing.

Everything changed when I was introduced to Vampire: the Masquerade and the storyteller system. And just like my start with d&d, I weren’t a player very long before picking up the mantle as storyteller, never letting it go since.
Through the years I’ve run countless games and groups in multiple systems and worlds. But the Storyteller system will forever be my absolute favorite.
