Ragnaroc the Wrath Touched

Ragnaroc’s parents Valdearg and (mother’s name) asked Moradin for a child, Moradin knew Valdearg very well for he was a great champion of the land. Seeing that he wanted a son Moradin granted him Ragnaroc. Like all other dwarves, Ragnaroc was brought up from stone. There was something different about Ragnaroc though he seemed to have an earthly power about him. When he was very young his father started his training to use all weapons in his home Valice, a mountain in a region unknown to any other race. Some think that Valice is in a completely different plane altogether, some believe that the mountain doesn’t exist, only dwarves know where it is and how to get there. He asked Moradin what was so special that made him so different from all the others. One day when he was talking to Moradin, Moradin finally answered his question. He said that it was his destiny whether he liked it or not that he was to conquer the land. When he came upon the age of a man he told his family the answer Moradin had given him. They laughed at him, with that he left his home vowing to return with his destiny fulfilled.
