I’ve been playing RPG’s since I discovered the wonders of the experience point when I was eight. Now some people don’t consider Pokemon an RPG, but I beg to differ. You’ve got stats, experience points, skills, and a certain level of strategy that the made the game the perfect for a first timer like myself. Since then, I’ve indulged in a plethora of RPG experiences, some for the better, and some for the worse. But if I had to pick a few select RPG that make up my experience with the subject, it’d have to be the Final Fantasy series, the many Pokemon games, Oblivion, and even more titles by Square Enix. From what I’ve discovered with my time in the glorious Dungeons & Dragons universe, I’ve realized that A LOT of RPG’s, even the most recent borrow from the ageless Dungeons & Dragons formula. This realization would be most apparent with The Elder Scrolls Oblivion IV. Seeing as how I had played Oblivion before playing D&D, playing a charismatic Rogue character for my first experience in D&D got me realizing that Oblivion almost copy and pasted the D&D formula, but I still love Oblivion. Anyways, there’s no other information about me that would be relevant for this site. My life with RPG’s is all that’s important for this biography, and I hope you enjoyed it, and if you actually read the whole thing, kudos.
