I started playing D&D in the boxed set around 1982. When Advanced D&D became popular, I started playing in 1983. In 1987 I played other RPGs with friends, Robotech, Recon, Star Wars and Marvel Universe. I stuck with the Advanced Dungeons Rulebooks through my formative college years. A lot of my experience was with mostly Home Brewed material under the Advanced Dungeons Rule Books. When the 5E rules became popular 2015 I shifted to the exciting newer materials and easier game play.
