To me, being a DM is an art. It’s the art of expressing myself through writing stories that are lived by players. The art of creating great memories of a fantasy world without really living in this world.

If I can make players dream, If I can make them want to go back to this world I create for them and with them, then really I have succeeded in creating these memories that will probably last them for a life time.

In the modern world that we live, we have a tendency of overlooking the power of imagination and this importance that it should have in our lives.

To being a DM is an art. It’s the art of creating worlds, tell stories about these worlds and live in them for a moment. Everyone has dreamed of being someone else on a given day, being a war hero, an astronaut, a dragon slayer. My art is making these dreams come true every time we gather around the table for an evening in our own world.
