Hello, I’m Alena!

I’ve been a Dungeon Master since I was 17 years old. It was then that the first adventurers explored my home-brew world known as Zaia.

Zaia is a campaign setting that has been built my myself and the players who have adventured there for nearly two decades, over multiple D20 systems; starting with 3rd Edition D&D. Those that have played there have changed its past, and players will continue to change its future.

Zaia is a Dark-Fantasy, Points-of-Light style campaign setting that takes place in Australia in a very distant, unrecognizable future. It features a morally-ambiguous tone, where players attempt to make the best of bad situations. There are rarely clearly-good and clearly-evil choices to be made; characters are often faced with self-preservation versus the greater-good. Being completely selfless is how one ends up as a corpse. It does not seek to pressure players to be evil; rather, it focuses on telling the story of the characters in the world, and their struggle with morality.
