I still do mainframe work, over twenty years after beginning. I may have left my ancestral home and traveled to Missouri to do it, but nonetheless – here I am, configuring mainframes and having a good time. I enjoy my work. I like my coworkers.

I do long to return to the land of my ancestors. One day, I shall.
