As an avid gamer girl, I’ve played most systems out there—starting with D&D 1.0 in 1985. Out of them all, I have played extensively with D&D 2.0, Star Wars WEG, Cyberpunk 2020, MSH, Star Trek FASA, Rifts and Robotech (Palladium), D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder. Currently, I’m playing or running campaigns in GURPS 4.0, MSH and D&D 3.5/PF.

Whether I’m running or playing a campaign, the story is what I value the most. With characters, I like to create histories and stories that serve to inform their motivations. And, with campaigns, I’m more interested in story arcs and character development than in typical rpg tropes. When the story and the setting are filled with complex characters, you have a recipe for some real magic.
