Sigil_Thane's Bio

I have been playing D&D since the days where you had to ink your own dice with a white crayon. :D

I first started Role playing with a basic set of DnD at the tender age of 7. That was over 30 years ago… My children are all grown up and are making their own adventures in this world.

I have played and GM’d so many RPG systems over the years, that I have lost count… notable systems include:

Marvel Superheroes, Gammaworld, Traveller, Star Wars (not Saga), Exalted, Shadowrun, Champions (Hero System), Dungeons and Dragons (original, basic, expert, Advanced, 2nd Ed, 3rd ed, 3.5,), Pathfinder, Storyteller ( Vampire: the Masquerade, Werewolf: the Apocalypse, Mage: The Ascension), Rifts (including Robotech, TMNT, Heroes Unlimited, and Ninjas and Superspies), Palladium RPG

I try not to Min-Max, but I’m a very logical person… Those rule mechanics are there for a reason! ‘Form follows Function’, an interesting character is only good if it doesn’t endanger the party with it’s quirks.

GM MeritBadges:
I roll Dice in the open and don't fudge the results in my games
My games rely on a lot of Improvisation rather than pre scripted content
I will Mirror back player ideas I think are interesting in the game
There will be Player vs Player combat allowed in my games
My games include Disturbing content
Players characters Death is a likely event in my games
